Submitting information to AIS

In addition to information about Fintraffic ANS's own operations, the aeronautical information services also publishes information reported by external parties, such as authorities, associations, companies etc. Data Originator is always responsible for the information.

AIS maintains and manages aeronautical data using the FAIMS aeronautical data management system and publishes it in accordance with the AIRAC schedule. FAIMS is used in Finland for receiving, processing, publicing and storing aviation data as required by EU regulation 2017/373. Requests for changes to AIS products must be submitted using AIM Portal. Please note that if you submit previously unpublished information in eAIP, the change request must be submitted no later than two weeks before the actual last data submission date.

Providing information for changes requires executing AIS Data Originator Training (only in Finnish) and making a service level agreement with AIS. Please contact ais@fintraffic.fi in case you want to make an agreement with AIS.

In the publishing system, aeronautical information is on the Internet and in the EAD database. Aeronautical information available online is not subject to a fee. Aeronautical data in the EAD database is accessed on the basis of an agreement between the customer and the EAD. For more information, please visit here.Opens an external site in a new tab
