USING THE eAIP

eAIP conforms to Eurocontrol eAIP specification document and its primary format is HTML with Finnish and English languages as separate pages. PDF is also available, and in it the languages are side by side on the same page, as before.

LAYOUT

On the left hand side of the browser window contains:

Command window:

• A link to this eAIP's cover page
• A link to the history page
• A link to the PDF format of the currently selected AIP section
• C on a yellow background is a link to Aeronautical Information Services website

eAIP menu:

• WEF (effective from) date
• AIP tab
• AMDT tab
• SUP tab
• AIC tab
• Search tab

The eAIP content will be displayed on the right hand side of the browser window.

AIP TAB

AIP tab displays the eAIP table of contents.

• Clicking on a "+" or "-" sign to show or hide a sub-level of section titles
• Clicking on a title the relevant eAIP section opens on the right hand side browser window
• Aerodromes, uncontrolled aerodromes and heliports are presented as their own sections in the AD Aerodromes section in eAIP
• AD 2 and AD 3 sections are divided into sections that include text pages and charts. E.g.

• Empty sections are marked with [NIL]
• The user shall ensure that he/she is browsing the appropriate effective date version of the eAIP

AMDT TAB

Amendment information is not shown by default. To see what has changed on HTML page, place the check mark in the box at the top right corner to make the changes visible. Please note that loading these changes may take some time.

The AMDT tab on the left of the browser window contains a detailed list of all changes in the AMDT. The changes are presented by blue triangles, which can be clicked to bring up the changes.

Changes in the eAIP are marked as follows:

AIRAC AMENDMENTS

• Insertions into the eAIP are shown with a light pink background.
• Deletions are shown with a dark pink background and a strikethrough.

NON-AIRAC AMENDMENTS

• Insertions into the eAIP are shown with light blue background.
• Deletions are shown with dark blue background and a strikethrough.

Note that there might not be any changes in the section you are reading, even if the "Show Amendments" box is ticked.

SUPS TAB (not in use yet)

For now, AIP SUP publications can be found at https://www.ais.fi/ais/aipsup/AipSup_en.htm

The SUPs tab lists relevant Supplements for the published effective date. Each Supplement is shown with:

• Number/Year
• AIP section(s) affected
• Period of validity
• Subject

AICS TAB (not in use yet)

For now, AIC A publications can be found at https://www.ais.fi/ais/aica/AipAicA_en.htm

The AICs tab lists relevant Circulars for the published effective date. Each circular is shown with:

• Number/Year
• Publication date
• Subject

SEARCH TAB

The search tab allows searching inside the eAIP. Enter one or more search terms in the "Search for" field and click the "Start" button. You can clear the search field by clicking the “Clear” button.

The search result will be displayed below the search form.
